There are a lot of eyes on Mondo at San Diego Comic-Con this summer, to see how Funko and the newly-restructured Mondo approach the convention. Since last summer, there have been lots of changes over at Mondo ( to put it mildly). After being acquired by Funko in June of 2022, their presence at San Diego Comic-Con last year saw them placed in “Funkoville”, Funko’s gigantic portion of the floor that showcased all of their different brands (including Funko proper as well as Mondo and Loungefly) in different “shops”. Mondo, best known for their beautiful limited edition screen printed posters, has expanded their offerings over the years to also encompass vinyl records, toys and collectibles, and more. ![]()
